How to create a new reservation on the Calendar

Click on <b>"Calendar"</b><span class=""></span>

On the top right of the calendar, click on <b>"New Reservation"</b><span class=""></span>

With your mouse go over the room where you wish to create the reservation and click the&nbsp;<b>"beginning date"</b> and drag your mouse until the end date<span class=""></span>

Once you have correctly selected the date, do a <b>"right click"</b> with your mouse over the dates<span class=""><i><b> </b></i></span>

If you are creating a reservation for an existing client profile, click on <b>"Search client"</b> and search the client<br><br>This will then bring you directly to the reservation information section<span class=""></span>

<b>Here</b> you should enter all the details you have for the client who is making the reservation<br><br><b>Note:</b> there are no mandatory fields however, we highly recommend entering as much information as possible to speed up the check-in process<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Comment"</b> you can enter a comment that will always appear on the reservations for this client<span class=""></span>

Once you have entered all the client information, click on <b>"OK"</b><span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Stay Type"</b> select the stay type corresponding to this reservation<br><br><b>Note:</b> this field is not mandatory but highly recommended<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Comment" </b>you can add a comment specific to this reservation <span class="component"></span><br>

Under <b>"Source"</b> select the source corresponding to this reservation<br><br><b>Note:</b> this field is not mandatory but highly recommended<span class=""></span><br>

If you select the option <b>"Pre-reservation"</b> the reservation will appear in a faded color on the calendar and you can confirm it at a later stage<br><br><b>Note:</b> this option will still block the availability of the room<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Adult, Junior, Baby"</b> you must indicate the number of people staying in the room<br><br><b>Note:</b> as you select the number of people, the price will vary depending on the price configurations on your account<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Guest Names"</b> you can enter the names of the additional guests staying in the room<br><br><b>Note:</b> this field is not mandatory but highly recommended<span></span><br>

Under <b>"Check-in Comment"</b> you can enter a specific comment for the check-in of the reservation<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Check-out Comment"</b> you can enter a specific comment for the check-out of the reservation<span class=""></span><br>

<b></b>Under <b>"Options"</b> you can select any options that need to be added to the reservation<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Rate"</b> you can choose to apply the default rate of the room or any other rate that you have configured in the settings<b><br><br></b><b>Note:</b> to create more rates, view the tutorial <b></b>"How to create a new rate?"<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Room Rate"</b> you can always modify the amount of the rate<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Mode"</b> you can select the rate mode applied to the reservation<span class=""></span>

Under <b>"Board"</b> you can add a board to the reservation<span class=""></span>

Once you add the <b>"board"</b> to the reservation, the system will automatically to the guest count from the above listed information and will calculate the total price per day based on the pricing per person per day of the board<span class=""></span>

Once you have entered all the reservation information, click on <b>"OK"</b><span class=""></span>

As you can see, the reservation has been successfully created<br><br>The system has now created a <b>"client profile"</b> and a <b>"reservation"</b> with their corresponding numbers in the system<span class=""></span>

Click on <b>"Close"</b><span class=""></span>

As you can see, the reservation is displayed on the calendar<br><br>That's it. You're done!<span class=""></span>
