How to set up payment methods on the Booking Engine

Step 1: The first step is to open Base7 and click on Settings

Step 2: Click on Booking Engine

Step 3: Click on Preferences

Step 4: In this section you can select the payment method you wish to use as well as the cards you accept as guarantee.

Step 5: Select Don't request credit card if you do not need credit card guarantee for your reservations

Step 6: Select Use Base7 payment for the credit card information to appear in the client profile for every new reservation

Step 7: With this payment method you can select the credit cards you accept by ticking the box next to them

Step 8: Under Options you can choose to Disable CVC, if you do not need it

Step 9: The third option is to Use Stripe payment

Step 10: With this payment method, you can also select accepted credit cards, but they will be stocked in the Stripe database, and you will be able to charge the card directly from Base7

Step 11: Under Options you can select three different charge methods with Stripe

Step 12: Click on Wait to keep the card as guarantee only, or charge it manually at any time

Step 13: Click on Charge to charge the full amount of the reservation immediately when the reservation is made

Step 14: Click on Pre-authorize to block the full amount of the reservation on the card, guaranteeing it can be captured within 7 days

Step 15: That's it. You're done!
